CHILDISH FANS VS UNPROFESSIONAL REFEREE

That was happen in the match between Persiwa Wamena (Papua) against Arema Malang (East Java) in Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri East Java on Wednesday January 16, 2008.Begins with attacking style of plays, both of team shows the interesting battle, it was looks being promising match. :# Arema held the pressure and little bit dominate the midfield at the beginning of time, and its works, Patricio Morales scores a goal, but the referee, Djajat Sudrajat, said handsball, the goal denied.There is any protest but its not going too bad and the game continue. Persiwa won’t to loose the attack, they give pressure and got a freekick, Persiwa midfielder Peter Rumaropen stuck the freekick, Mariano Oscar head it into the goal, 1-0. Arema’s young striker, Arif Suyono, run with the ball and pass it toward Patricio Morales, he place the ball into the net, but again the gol denied, the linesman fly the offsides flag, Patricio Morales was offside. Suddenly an Arema’s suporter hit the linesman, Yuli Suhatno, he fainting down and must replaced.

Second half, Arema keep trying to attack, a nice cross from the left headed by Emille Mbamba, goal, but again and again the referee denied, he said Mbamba was offside even in the tv replay shows that Emille Mbamba clearly onside and the goal should not be denied, disappointed decision. Minute 65, Persiwa’s midfielder Eddie Buakai Fodai held an counter attack, he passing the long ball toward and the head by Peter Rumaropen meet the goal, 2-0. Only 30 second after that second goal, Arema found them score by Emille Mbamba kick, Persiwa 2 - Arema 1. That goal doesn’t makes the Arema suporter composed, even it going so bad. Again, an Arema supporter goes into the field and hit the referee, the incident burn any other supporter to make an gale, they run into the field, pursuing referee. The referee, players, the officials saves by police officer. But not for the stadium.
Beginning with throwing seats, bench then destroy the sponsor board. Some people burn the goal net and breaking some flagpole. The stadium burned and become to be a dark smoke place. No body can’t stop them.

Embarrassing. Not only embarrassing supporter, it is embarrassing steward and security. Where is the steward ? where is the security?

As known, the stewards and security in every Indonesia football match always get and free football game show, they’ve paid for watching the match, nice job isn’t it?. If the security could stopping a supporter who is trying to run into the field in the match Persiwa vs Arema, the referee must be safe from knock and the stadium might not be burned like this happen.

Indonesia football, which is still unprofessional organization accompanied childish supporter with their high potential anger should take an intensive care and seriously anticipate in every match. Meanwhile, about unprofessional referees, I think they are scared persons we have to repair. The Indonesia referee is easy pressed, easy threated and very simple if someone want to give bribes. I’ll tell to the referee, “if you don’t be able to handle the pressure better you just stay at home and joking with your kids in the bedroom”. Referee paid for lead not to be a tool, referee paid to be conqueror the anger players not to be a looser. Referee be there to upright the justice without fraud.
