NAVY SOLDIERS ACCIDENT

Saturday, February 2, 2008 an amphibious armored BTR-50P sunk into the Situbondo sea, its owned by TNI AL (Navy of the Indonesia National Armored Forces). Actually BTR-50P is the old amphibious armored, it used to be the Russia armored since 1955. In 1962 Indonesia bought it and used until now.

Indonesian National Armored Forces having 96 unit of BTR-50P, they said that they would check and repair them all.
Ok, while waiting for them to check and repair. The Indonesian people have to pray for their country, wish that not to get the military attack from the other country and should set the attention board: “PLEASE DON’T STRIKE US FOR A FEW DAYS, WE ARE NOT READY YET AT THE MOMENT”.
There was an military practice using BTR-50P before the accident occured, in the distance of 400 meters from the land, they have been stroke by a big wave, it caused unstable control. Waves come bigger made the BTR-50P lose control then it is going to sunk.
Commander said to unlock the emergency exit. There were 9 soldiers success to escape, unlucky a soldier hooked and obstacles exit which was caused 6 other soldiers left. BTR-50P going to sunk to 30 meter into the deep of sea with 6 soldier trapped inside. Later on, The Rescue Team found 5 soldier corpses and still searching the lost one.
