Visit Indonesia year 2008 became dilemmatic, because the price of tourism now became expensive because the Indonesian government increase the gassoline price, so how could visit Indonesia 2008 to be succeed ? If the Indonesian government really want to succeed their visit Indonesia program this years they should count in everything which could support and tackle it. The tourism travel as the front line who promote the Indonesian tourism have been confuse cause they must be increase their cost too, the first promotion term is about “competitive price and the un expensive tourism travel with highly quality” now will not became their andalan anymore. The effect is visit Indonesian year 2008 no more different than every years before which is only change of logo and slogan, that’s all.
The increase of tourism selling value depend on increase of gasoline and transportation price will be affecting to many of segment, increasing of gassoline will affecting for increase of price in motel, food, rent and many tourism thing.
